What we are equipped for
Oxygen and airway support. IV access, fluids and medication given directly rather than swallowed. Adrenaline for anaphylaxis. Nebulised treatment for an asthma attack. Cardiac monitoring, blood pressure and oxygen saturation. Bleeding controlled, wounds closed, fractures splinted for transfer.
Same-visit bloods, which matter more in an emergency than people expect — a haemoglobin, a glucose or a dengue result changes what happens next within minutes rather than hours.

What belongs in a hospital, not here
Call 1669 immediately and go straight to an emergency department for:
- Chest pain, or pain spreading to the jaw or arm
- Breathlessness at rest, or blue lips
- Stroke signs — face, arm, speech, and note the time it started
- A head injury with vomiting, confusion, drowsiness or a fit
- Major bleeding, or bleeding that will not stop under firm pressure
- A seizure, or anybody who cannot be roused
- A high-speed road accident, or any accident without a helmet
- Severe abdominal pain with a rigid, board-like belly
These need imaging, surgery, blood products or an intensive care bed. Pattaya has all of that within a short drive. Coming here first would cost you the only thing that matters in those situations, which is time.
The grey area, which is most of it
Between “obviously fine” and “obviously an emergency” sits the majority of what we see, and it is genuinely hard to judge from the inside.
A fever of 39.5 that has not shifted. A cut that might need stitching. An ankle that might be broken. Vomiting that has gone past the point of keeping water down. A friend who has drunk more than usual and is now hard to wake. A bad reaction to something.
That is exactly what a clinic like this is for. We can assess it properly in a few minutes, treat it if it is treatable, and send you onward if it is not — and the sending onward comes with a phone call ahead rather than a shrug.
Anaphylaxis and severe allergy
Sudden swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, a spreading rash with breathing difficulty, or collapse after a food, a sting or a drug is an emergency and needs adrenaline immediately.
We keep adrenaline and give it without waiting to see whether it settles. If you carry an auto-injector and have used it, come in anyway — a second reaction hours later is common and is the one that catches people out.
Afterwards you need a period of observation, not a taxi straight back to the hotel. That is not caution for its own sake; it is the specific way this condition behaves.
Road accidents, which are the local speciality
Scooters are the commonest cause of serious injury in this city by a wide margin, and the injuries follow a pattern — see motorbike accident injuries.
Grazes and road rash we clean and dress here, and cleaning is the whole job: gravel left in a wound is how infection and permanent tattooing of the skin happen.
Head injury, loss of consciousness even briefly, a limb that looks wrong, or a rider who was not wearing a helmet is a hospital problem, not a clinic one. We will stabilise, splint and send — see hospital transfer and referral.
Alcohol, and when a bad night becomes a medical problem
Most heavy nights need water, sleep and patience. Some do not, and the line is clearer than people think — see alcohol poisoning.
Bring somebody in if they cannot be roused, are breathing slowly or irregularly, are cold and clammy, have vomited repeatedly, have had a fit, or have hit their head. Do not let somebody sleep it off face-up and unattended.
Nobody here will lecture you, and nobody calls the police for being drunk. Whatever else was involved, tell us — it changes treatment, and we are not interested in anything beyond that.
Bringing somebody in who cannot speak for themselves
You will be asked things the patient cannot answer, and your guesses are genuinely useful: roughly how much they drank, what they took, whether they hit their head, whether they have any conditions, whether they carry an inhaler or an auto-injector.
If you can, bring their phone, their passport and anything they were taking. Check their bag rather than their pockets in front of them.
And stay if you can. Somebody who can say “that is not how they normally are” changes an assessment more than any single test result.
Getting to us, or us to you
We are on South Pattaya Road, a few minutes from Walking Street and Bali Hai Pier. Any baht bus along that road will drop you outside, and a Grab will find the map pin faster than the street number.
If somebody genuinely cannot be moved, ring us and say so plainly — a doctor hotel visit may be quicker than moving them badly.

My friend is very drunk and hard to wake. What do I do?
Bring them in, or call. Do not let them sleep unattended on their back. Slow breathing, cold clammy skin or a fit means go now.
Do you treat road accident injuries?
Yes — grazes, road rash, cuts and sprains. Head injuries, suspected fractures and high-speed crashes we stabilise and refer.
Will you call ahead if I need a hospital?
Yes. We stabilise you, ring the receiving department so you are expected, and arrange the ambulance.
I used my adrenaline auto-injector and feel better. Do I still need to come?
Yes. A second reaction hours later is common and is the dangerous one. You need observation, not a taxi home.
Is there an extra charge at night?
You are told the cost before treatment starts, whatever the hour. Nothing is added without your agreement.
