On South Pattaya Road, a few minutes from Walking Street and Bali Hai Pier. Walking Street, Bali Hai Pier and the South Pattaya end of Beach Road are all a few
minutes away on foot, and any baht bus running South Pattaya Road will drop you outside.
If you are coming by taxi or Grab, the map pin is more reliable than the street number — South
Pattaya Road is long and the numbering is not obvious from a car.
There is no wrong hour to come
A large share of what we treat arrives between midnight and four: scooter injuries, cuts, people
whose friends have become worried about them, and stomach illness that peaks when somebody finally
decides they cannot keep going. None of it has to wait for daylight.
If you are unsure whether something is worth coming in for, call and describe it. That costs
nothing and saves a journey more often than not.
If you cannot get to us
A doctor can come to your hotel or condo — see doctor hotel visits.
Central Pattaya, Pratumnak, Jomtien and Naklua are all covered, usually within about an hour depending
on traffic, which in this city is the main variable.
When you call, give us the building name, the road or soi, and the room number, and have somebody
meet the doctor at reception if the building is large. Unmarked sois and condo towers with several
entrances are the commonest reason an arrival is slower than it should be.
What to bring
- Passport if you have it — not required in order to be treated
- Travel insurance details, mentioned at the start of the visit rather than the end
- Any medication you already take, ideally in its box or as a photo of the box
- For a child: their age and rough weight
- If you have been diving: how many dives, how deep, and how recently
Payment and insurance
Cash or card, at the end of the visit. You are told the cost before treatment begins rather than
after it. Every visit can produce an itemised receipt and an English medical report, which between
them satisfy most travel insurers — see travel insurance claims.
Ask for the paperwork while you are here. Insurers routinely want documents that are far harder to
obtain once you have flown home.
